The headband is knitted back and forth on the short side. That way the headband is easy to make shorter/longer if needed. The cables are made with a cable needle. The lace is described in both words and by a chart.

One size: approx. 48cm/19 in – fits head circumference about 52-59cm/20.5-23.25 in

But it is very easy to make the headband shorter/longer if needed.

Needles: 4.5 mm (US: Size 7) circular needle or normal needles (Whatever you like best)

Gauge: 19 stitches = 10 cm (3.9 inches) in stockinette stitch

Yarn suggestion: 1 thread of  ‘Sunday’ from Sandnes garn (50g = 235m/257 yards) together with ‘Tynn silk mohair’ from Sandnes garn (25g = 212m/ 231yards)

Alternative yarn  suggestion: 1 thread of ‘Knitting for Olive merino’ (50g = 250 m) together with 1 thread of *Knitting for Olive Soft silk mohair’ (25g = 225m)

OR

1 thread of ‘Arwetta classic’ (50g = 210m)  together with 1 thread of ‘Tilia’ both from ‘Filcolana’

Weight needed: approx. 20g merino and 10g mohair
